T HamptonTOM Hampton, a former 12th man for England, is the new captain of Bucks.
The 27-year-old High Wycombe seamer succeeds Michael Payne who has cled the county for the past three seasons.
Hampton, who fielded for England in Lord's Test while with the MCC Young Cricketers in 2012, was formally ratified at the Bucks annual meting in Wendover on Monday.

He started his cricket career at Marlow, before moving to Gerrards Cross and making Bucks debut in 2014, for hom he returned figures of 6-48 in one game
His performances for the county led to his being offered a two-year contract by Gloucestershire, for whom he played a handful of games.
He then joined High Wycombe as head coach.
Having been released by Gloucestershire, he is now free to play a full season for Bucks, where he could play alongside his brother dan Hampton, who has represented the county since 2015.
Michael Payne will continue to play for Bucks this season as the county bid to end two seasons without a win in the Unicorns Counties Championship.
