Kervezee to replace Park

Published: Tuesday, 19 November 2019

kervezeeBucks are excited by the signing of former Dutch international cricketer Alexei Kervezee.
The 30-year-old batsman, who played 39 ODIs for Holland from 2008-17, has been registered to play for Bucks in National Counties CA competitions for the next three years.
Kervezee played for Worcestershire from 2008-17, scoring six first-class hundreds and had a batting average of just under 30.
For the past two seasons, he has played for Shropshire, scoring more than 1,000 Championship runs. He plays his club cricket for Halesowen in the Birmingham League.
Meanwhile, Bucks are saying goodbye to talented all-rounder Garry Park, a key member of the side over the past three seasons.
The former Derbyshire player will be remembered for scoring possibly the fastest century in Bucks's history with his 50-ball effort against Shropshire in 2018, but had struggled for form last summer.
Jason Harrison, the Bucks director of cricket, said: "Alexei is an exciting signing for us, while we wish Garry the best of luck for the future."
