Under 9s V Surrey again
On Sunday 6 September Buckinghamshire U9 played Surrey U9 at Winchmore Hill CC

Buckinghamshire won the toss and asked Surrey to bat, who scored 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 42 overs

Opening bowlers Connor Thomas (2 wickets) and Joseph Rance (1 wicket) took three wickets for three runs in the first three overs. Spinner Nouman Aslam and Jo Rance bowled mean spells in the later stages of the Surrey innings which kept the run rate in check

Although not losing wickets the Buckinghamshire batsmen were unable to keep up with the required run rate. With 10 over remaining the score stood at 78 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. 6 wickets were then lost for 11 runs in 7 overs. Wicketkeeper Elliot Klyne and Joseph Rance (9 runs not out ) batted out the last three overs for a draw
